After sharing last week what it is about Flowery Branch that makes living in Northeast Georgia a great place to call home, this week we would like to travel a little down the road to Braselton, where history is in the making as the city celebrates it centennial all year, along with the growth of where it has been to where it is now.

Settling on a location for living can be a struggle because of the factors to consider. What about a home’s location increases its value? According to Trulia.com, the following five attributes can increase your home’s value by location alone:

  1. Walkability: While we typically drive everywhere we need to go, there is something satisfying about being able to walk a few blocks to your favorite shop or restaurant for a quick bite to eat. And while destinations may not always be in walking distance, life paths for golf carts and biking have become popular installations for communities.
  1. Amenities: Whether you are choosing to live in a subdivision with amenities maintained by an HOA, such as a pool or tennis court, or living in a downtown area
